HAHAHA.
--------------------------
My opinion:
I have to say that simply from a gameplay design perspective I don't like the Terrans in SC2, but then again even in SC1 they were sort of the "odd one out" in terms of design philosophy.
To explain, if you had to sum up each race in one word, this is how it would go:
Starcraft 1
Protoss: Quality
Zerg: Quantity
Terrans: LOLTANKS
Starcraft 2
Protoss: Quality
Zerg: Quantity
Terrans: LOLMARAUDERS

I think Terran is fine the way they are. Bioball can easily be stopped with every single race. Protoss has sentry, zealot, hightemplar and colossus. Maybe Immortals if they're seeing too many marauders. Zerg has baneling infestor to deal with bio.
Mech or should i say tanks are being nerfed this month so people should stop whining about how tanks are so god damn OP.
Recently Koreans have been saying that Protoss is OP rather than Terran. If you think about it, TvP should be in the protoss' favor. If Terran goes Bio-Ghost, all Toss has to do is get zealot w charge, high templars, sentries, and colossus. Simply hide your casters until the ghosts waste energy then Forcefield-Psi storm. If he went Bio-mech, throw in a few immortals.
Personally I like to believe TvP is balanced and it has alot of room for development.
Also if you think about the play styles of both countries, America is macro based meaning alot of battles will be Attack-Move. Korea seems to be more micro based meaning we'll see alot more short skirmishes and harassment and etc.
btw, Blizzard says Terran>Protoss>Zerg

Watch this. . Dimaga just proved a freaking huge point that zerg is way underpowered and TvZ is way too imbalanced. Even as a not so good terran player he could beat any zerg player. Imagine 3 base terran can handle 6-7 base zerg. Too bad though because of greed, blizzard just play deaf and not pay any attention to it. Perhaps if ppl stop playing starcraft 2 only then will they do something about it. Fuck blizzard.

That video is old. It is before the tank nerf, the reaper nerf, and the roach buff.
Dimaga is an amazing Terran player. He beat IdrA at the intel EXTREME masters. It was about 2-3 months ago that he switched to Zerg.
Terran macro is the weakest of all races. An even number base zerg can destroy Terran. Protoss with same bases can do the same thing. That is why throughout matches, Terran has to harass the opponent to not get an edge, but to be even.
Terran also has the strongest early game. MM can do a lot of damage. However, MMM loses effectiveness as the game progresses. Day9 and Qxc has said it themselves. MMM works great at small numbers but not at larger numbers.
Terran for the most part is balanced right now. There is now way in hell a 6 base zerg can lose to a 3 base terran. TvP seems there is still some balance issues because P is a bit stronger than T simply because of sentries. Its not like they can be nerfed either because then P will be too weak.
and also Blizzard is constantly patching and trying to improve their game they listen to their players (tank nerf reaper nerf) and try to improve the game as best as they can.
